Photon Queue has closed an oversubscribed $4 million seed round, led by Playground Global with participation from Cerberus Capital Management, Illinois Ventures, Roadrunner Venture Studios, and MFV Partners. This raise will allow us to grow from delivering individual hardware units to becoming a standard component across quantum computing platforms.

In under two years, we’ve gone from lab prototypes to delivering our first commercial quantum memory devices to Sandia National Laboratories and the University of Maryland. We’ve also picked up $500,000 from the New Mexico Economic Development Department and Roadrunner Venture Studios to support our expansion into New Mexico, and we plan to move into the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park as we double our five-person team by year’s end.
